About Me
I am a licensed psychotherapist living and working in New York City. In my practice, I see adults and adolescents in individual and group therapy. I have extensive experience providing therapy to individuals experiencing challenges related to anxiety and self esteem issues, identity confusion, high achievement & loss of meaning, depression, trauma, substance use, stress, gender identity, unresolved memories from the past, complex relationships, and compulsive behavior. I have a special interest in working with college and graduate students and emerging adults. I see my work as grounded in deep listening and forming a genuine, active and flexible working relationship with each of my clients. It's a joy to support clients in their personal growth and see them experience greater clarity in their unique strengths and values over the course of therapy.
Education & Training
I received a bachelor of arts in Art History from Oberlin College and continued my studies at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, where I graduated with Honors in Clinical Social Work. I have worked as staff psychotherapist in a variety of short-term and long-term treatment settings, such as within a community-based psychoanalytic institute, a group private practice setting, at a young adult literacy program, and in higher education campus counseling. In addition to my private practice, I am currently studying as advanced candidate in psychoanalytic training at the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center (PPSC) and work in counseling services at New York University.
